Introduction to Tinkercad – 3D Design Workshop for Kids!

Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where kids take their first steps into the world of 3D design using Tinkercad — a simple, web-based tool used by designers, engineers, and makers around the world!

In this 1-hour session, children will learn how to:

•Understand 3D space and basic shapes

•Combine and modify objects to create real 3D models

•Design their very own simple creation — ready to be 3D printed!

This workshop is designed for beginners aged 7–12 and requires no prior experience. It’s a perfect starting point for kids who love to build, draw, and imagine new things!

Why Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is a fun, drag-and-drop tool that teaches kids the core concepts of design thinking, geometry, and creativity. It’s used in schools and maker spaces worldwide — and it’s the foundation for our upcoming advanced workshops in 3D printing, robotics, and product design.

Note: This introductory workshop is required to participate in our more advanced design and robotics sessions.
